I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for welcoming me into my new position and for your support for the Chesterfield United Football Club.  It has been a few months since I have accepted the position and have been busy transitioning in as the technical director for the club.  I am convinced that I have made the right move coming here and am prepared to take the club to the next level.  I am excited about the resources and the potential the club has to offer, and very much look forward to a long relationship with Chesterfield United.

 

Since arriving I have faced a number of challenges and understand that there will be bumps in the road, but I want to make it clear that any decision I am faced with will be made in the best interest of the Players and the overall Club.  Our relationships with Adidas, Eurosport, Coerver training, U-Turn Sports, the County facilities, College and Professional programs in our region, as well as our new quality technical and administrative staff, team coaches, managers and club board of directors - puts us in position to be successful in developing players, teams and the Chesterfield United Football Club!  I am especially excited about working with our recreational leagues, travel teams as well as our experienced technical and administrative staffs to implement our new structure.  The new staff and club direction will enhance our program offerings and create a more efficient, higher quality club for all involved.  Along with raising the quality of our staff and programs, we are focused on improving our communication to our membership through more regular emails contacts and a new website look and design.  Stay tuned for announcements about our website and new and exciting things that are happening with our club. 

 

What I ask of you is to be critical, yet patient and understanding.  Although we have great resources to work with - we are also in transition with a new club staff and many initiatives which will ultimately enhance our programs.  We have inherited a few problems that we are working through, but are in the process of developing new policy and structure that will take care of these issues in the future.  I don’t expect you to always agree, but I do ask that you support the club and trust that the staff, coaches and club administration are doing everything possible to provide a quality experience for your kids!
