BRIDGING THE GAP Between Classic & Elite
Chesterfield United Technical Staff Develops Ten Initiatives to Bridge the Gap between Elite and Classic teams to provide a consistent approach to player development.
1.      Director of Player Development to communicate weekly with Classic Coach (Roster, results, strengths, weaknesses, players to watch)
2.      Elite Head Coach to communicate weekly with Classic Coach. (Roster, results, strengths, weaknesses, players to watch)
3.      (1)Classic player to be invited to train with Elite team every week.
4.      Elite and Classic teams to train at same time and location (pool training) whenever possible.
5.      Elite team to scrimmage Classic team at least twice per season.
6.      Elite coach to observe at least 1 game per season and provide feedback to Classic coach.
7.      Elite coach to conduct at least 1 training session per season and provide feedback to Classic coach.
8.      Director of Player Development to observe at least 1 game and provide feedback to Classic coach.
9.      Director of Player Development to conduct at least 1 training session and provide feedback to Classic coach.
10.    Classic players given first option to provide guest players for tournaments as needed.
